You wouldn’t close a case without examining the evidence—so why approach questions about God any differently? In this episode, cold-case homicide detective J. Warner Wallace brings an investigator’s perspective to faith, doubt, and the difference between presenting evidence and convincing someone it’s true. Responding to a fellow detective wrestling with exhaustion and doubts about Christianity, Wallace explores how skepticism, personal experience, and our willingness to consider the evidence can shape our conclusions. For police officers and law enforcement personnel asking hard questions about their own beliefs—or struggling to explain their faith to a skeptical partner or coworker—this conversation examines the relationship between reason and faith, why evidence matters, and why Christians can make their case while trusting God with the outcome.
